HIGHLIGHTS 2007 Prices 2007 All prices for surfing and sports as well as all accommodations stay the same as 2006! This gives at the most of our tour operators better prices than 2006. EVENTS to the start of season Masterfun with Kutte 30.04. – 14.05. (1 week 325,-Euro):„Homo Surficus Brutalis“ Kutte Priessner was named in the legendary surf movies. He is the leader of the event and the guarantor for the success of the new concept of surfing for advanced windsurfers: Learn Windsurfing 30.04. – 14.05.( 1 week 129,- Euro) Starting as an absolute beginner and become in six days a confident windsurfer! The trendsetting concept of our school and the most modern material, Roberto Ricci Easy Rider and Evolution 360 Boards as well as light riggs guarantee the success of learning; no previous knowledge needed. Besides the windsurfing also mountain biking is set in the program, our mountain bike guide Andy has arranged some new tours for you. The legendary Girls Camp 11.06. – 25.06.:Again this year the Girls Camp Naxos takes place in cooperation with Sun and Fun, the Surfmagazin and Waterworld. Leader of the team is Paula Klemt, both of the weeks are suitable for advanced and experienced windsurf girls. Beside the daily training a ample supporting program is provided. More information’s at Sun and Fun and in the Surfmagazin. Flisvos own weather station and more webcams We have now a new weather station especially for the Flisvos sportclub Naxos. Up to date and firsthand meteorological data! And by our three webcams it is really easy to take part in the world of Flisvos sportclub also at home. At the BEACH-CAFE new pergolas and a roof-deck We already work on it: this summer you will enjoy your cocktail in the beach-cafe under new pergolas and relish the amazing view to the sea and the sunset at the new chill out roof-deck. You will be surprised!! Naxos DIVING - new PADI diving centre Finally at Plaka beach a great diving centre has opened. Mieke and me confirm this after making our PADI Open Water Diver in October and we are enthused!! It is possible to book it at Flisvos sportclub Windsurfing in Mikri Vigla For the next summer we are planning a small windsurf station in Mikri Vigla. Bookable with an extra charge of 80,- Euro per week when pre-booking additional to your fix-board at St. George. Hotel Orkos Beach in Mikri Vigla We have already rented the best rooms for you in the hotel Orkos Beach with great view to the sea. Enthusiastic wind surfers from all over the world (Switzerland, Norway, Australia and USA) in all levels are enjoying the windy days of August in and outside our protected lagoon! Best wind forecasts for the next days Are there better news than windy news? Starting the 23th of August Windguru forecasts windy days with constantly north wind and 4-5 Beaufort. Only a few days recreation of the aching muscles and cut loose again! Best test results for RRD boards 2008 and rigs of Neil Pryde In between we already had christmas in Flisvos Sportclub: The new RRD boards 2008 and rigs of Neil Pryde received in our centre. In previous test drives this great visual impacted line gets the best marks from guests and team! The stuff is available for your test drive! All our guests love the new design of the Beach-Cafe New: Fish BBQ Night in the Beach Cafe Most of of guests come to our long-established beach cafe for relaxing and recreation. For the start of the season the beach cafe got a new look. We rebuilt it all winter long and our guests love the comfortable lounge and the new sunset terrace. Mieke and her international service team coddle here all the hungry and thirsty guests looking for shadow and the beautiful view. Everybody who enjoyed once the sunset over Paros will come back for sure! We tried a new BBQ with fish, and it was such a success that we decided to provide fish-BBQ now every Friday! Everybody's darling is the octopus hanging in the Flisvos yard drying for the evening. New windsurf station in Mikri Vigla and the Biotherm-Active kitesurf event Our new windsurf station presents itself small but nice in Mikri Vigla, 13km from Naxos town since June 2007.
It is situated at our established kitesurf centre with the kite cafe, also new designed and rebuilt. In Mikri Vigla kite surfer as well as windsurfer will find best conditions in this spot that combines the two sports perfectly. All our guests who already booked stuff in our main centre at St. George beach will have special offers here in Mikri Vigla as well as transfer possibilities.
In these days the Biotherm-Active kitesurf event takes place at Mikri Vigla. We will report soon about these exiting days the winner team enjoys on Naxos island.
Masterfun with Kutte The legendary windsurfer Kutte Priessner starts together with Flisvos Sportclub a new event that will gain cult status.
Masterfun is an event for groups of "matured" windsurfers, who want to enjoy a stress-free and relaxing week of surfing.

Your Flisvos Team NEWSLETTER December 2007 Dear Flisvos guests, We hope you spent very relaxing and eventful days with us in the Flisvos Sport Club and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you again in Naxos in the coming season 2008. Our season 2007 - a success story! As every year we look back at the past season with the feeling that time has run by much too fast once again. For us this is always an indication that we were once again able to spent a fulfilling, exiting time filled with a lot of sports and fun with our guest. We would like to thank Konstantinos Pappas! One day everything good comes to an end. Therefore 2007 was the last active season for our year long Sports Department Manager Konstantinos Pappas. After 10 very event- and successful years in Naxos and the Flisvos Sport Club Konstantinos and his wife Michaela have decided to move to Germany with their children. We would like to wish Konstantinos and his family the very best and lots of luck and success for the coming years. We would like to thank him very much for his unwearied involvement, his never ending energy and year long work for the Flisvos Sport Club. Of course we are very much looking forward to welcoming him and his family as guests - Without doubt this will be a strange experience for Konstantinos! Naxos goes Brazil A dream for almost every Wind- and Kite Surfer: Naxos in summer time and then of to sunny Brazil in winter time. Although Jericoacoara along the Atlantic Coast of Brazil, located approx. 300 km north of Fortaleza can't be called a secret spot anymore, it is definitely worth a trip! And this is exactly the reason why our Flisvos Sport Club Manager owners Mieke and Jan, Windsurf Instructor Katja, Shop- and Lagoon fairy Rosi and our locals Michaelis, Stelios and Costa set out to discover the wind and waves of Brazil! Unquestionably they spent an unbelievable, unforgettable time there filled with sun, wind and waves! Just check out the pictures! A reason to get envious...
