| Kite-Cat Trip through the Cycladic Islands, October 14th till October 20th From the port of Naxos Chora we sailed to Mikri Vigla and from there kiting around and along the catamaran, downwind to Paros; channel crossing 8 miles to new golden Beach. We set sails to Antiparos and kite surfed between Antiparos and Despotiko further to Punda with constantly 25 knots fantastic wind and for the first time on our trip a family of Dolphins entertained us aside the Cat joining us on our trip to Aliki,from where we sailed and kite surfed to Makares; a small uninhabited islands east of Naxos and got again visited by more than 25 dolphins swimming on both sides of the yacht. We anchored at Makares in a beautiful bay where we were swimming, fishing and snorkelling and prepared a fire place for the night. We cached 15 calamari and 6 different fishes what should be enough for our BBQ on the beach. After a good rest we set sails and kites direction Kofounissia to a bay on the east side where we were kite surfing for another 2 hrs on flat water near the yacht. And than it was time to prepare ourselves to sail back to Naxos. We passed Pisolivadi; north upwind between the islands Paros and Naxos and arrived happily and satisfied on Naxos harbour. It was a fantastic unforgettable kite and sailing event with lots of wind and great company! | ||||||
